Maximum Ride - HOGWASH

Here we have Max and Fang talking about how bad the newest books are. I think they'd be rather angry about it.

These books have really gone downhill. I sometimes wonder what's going on inside Patterson's brain.

The Angel Experiment: Got it for my birthday and couldn't put it down. Mutated kids running around trying to survive. How cool is that?
School's Out-Forever: Just as good as the first one! I was really looking forward to the third.
Saving The World And Other Extreme Sports: I was seriously disappointed. Where did the evil scientists go? Where did global warming thing come from?
The Final Warning: Total crap. I hated it.
MAX: This one was even worse! Nothing happened except Max and Fang getting together. Oooooh, big surprise.

There are so many unanswered questions in this series. What ever happened to the clones in the third book? Why did Max's eraser reflection go? And why the heck did Patterson pick global warming and pollution? Of all the things! It really feels like he didn't know what the Flock were gonna save the world FROM. So he just randomly picked global warming and now the series is boring, predictable, and just plain stupid.

I was at Book A Million the other day and picked up the second volume of the MR manga and in the back is a preview of the next book. Wanna guess the title? Fang. Wow Patterson, great title you picked. So original.
And now there's going to be a movie. If the books are that bad, then the movie will be even worse.

Gah, sorry about this long rant. I just need to vent my spleen.
